Croco Chrome Wild Neck

Richard Orlinski
2016
Resin-chrome
Edition 7 of 8
27.0015.00

Richard Orlinski is a Paris-based artist working on an industrial scale in both size and production. Through a large team of technicians, Orlinski combines images he sees as representing the primal nature of humanity with those that represent the consumerism and glamour of our contemporary world. His well-known Kong is the clearest example of this, rendered in highly polished, faceted resin, a physical representation of a computer model version of King Kong, the 1930s symbol of force and instinct. Art Price lists him as one of the top 10 selling French contemporary artists.
